The snow is gone but now it’s time to make-up a week worth of missed school for many districts across the Piedmont-Triad.
WFMY News 2 will update this list as more schools announce their make-up days.

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools
Make-up days are as follows:
- June 7 for Monday, Dec. 10
- June 10 for Tuesday, Dec. 11
- June 11 for Wednesday, Dec. 12
- March 29 for Thursday, Dec. 13.
The make-up calendar for the 2018-19 school year doesn’t have other make-up days already scheduled. So the Board of Education will determine a make-up day for Friday, Dec. 14 at a later date.
The board also has the option to make changes in any of the scheduled make-up days.

Alamance Burlington Schools
Traditional and Year-Round Weather Make-Up Days scheduled below.
Here is the make-up plan for all traditional and YR school sites. Please note that the make-up schedule includes 3 days previously scheduled as winter break
- January 3 for Monday, December 10
- January 4 for Tuesday, December 11
- Using banked instructional hours for December 12
- December 21 for Thursday, Dec. 13
- Using banked instructional hours for December 14
The A-B Early College will communicate their make-up plan separately.

Thomasville City Schools
Thomasville City Schools will add 15 mins. to the end of the day starting December 17 and ending January 31, 2019.
- Friday, 12/21/18 is a regular attendance day with no early dismissal
- Saturday School will be held on January 5 with early dismissal

Lexington City Schools
Make-up days are as follows:
- December 21st – changed from Early Release to Full Instructional Day
- January 18th changed from Required Teacher Workday to regular Student Day, which will also be the last day of the quarter
Other makeup days and times will be approved at our next board meeting January 14, 6:30 p.m.

Traditional Calendar Inclement Weather Makeup Schedule:
- December 10 will be made up December 21 (early dismissal)
- Remember, December 20 is a full student day
- December 11 will be made up January 22
- December 12 will be made up February 15
- December 13 will be made up February 18
- Early College High School Inclement Weather Makeup Schedule:
- December 10 will be made up December 21 (Full student day for exams)
- December 11 will be made up January 2
- December 12 will be made up February 15
- December 13 will be made up March 18
