On this day, February 5, 2017, the New England Patriots made the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history. The Atlanta Falcons looked unstoppable, rolling out to a 28 to 3 lead in Super Bowl LI, with Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman chewing up big yards and their defense forcing key turnovers.

Then...with 8:36 left in the 3rd quarter, it all changed. The Patriots scored 25 straight points and tied the game up with just a minute left, completing the largest Super Bowl comeback ever. Julian Edelman made that jaw-dropping, swear inducing, beer spilling catch and the chains kept moving. Tom Brady was on fire, throwing for 466 yards, James White ran in a short score for his second touchdown of the game and Danny Amendola caught a screen pass for a two-point conversion to tie things up at 28 with 57 seconds left. The Falcons were stunned!

The football Gods had the Pats win the coin toss for possession to start overtime and they marched straight down the field. James White ran in his 3rd touchdown of the game and the Patriots won their 5th Super Bowl in the most dramatic fashion.

Relive the glory!!!
