Billie Joe Armstrong And Susanna Hoffs Team Up For New "Manic Monday"

Instead of sitting around watching Let's Make A Deal during the quarantine, Green Day front man Billie Joe Armstrong has been releasing a new cover song every Monday. He calls it "No Fun Mondays," and so far he's covered Tommy James and the Shondell's "I Think We're Alone Now," and Johnny Thunders, "You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory."

Today he released a cover of the 1986 Bangles hit, "Manic Monday," with none other than lead Bangle Susanna Hoffs helping out on guitar from her living room. He also said he's written about 6 more Green Day songs while in isolation and can't wait to get in the studio with the rest of the band to record them.

Check out this great cover of "Manic Monday" with a very happy Susanna Hoffs on split screen.
